ABOUT
Who I Am
Passionate, excited, and loud -- that's who I am. I 'm fiercely driven about the things I love, with an infectious exuberance for most things, and an interest in things that push me to be more. As a twenty-something at the beginning of my journey, I'm using this corner of the internet to elucidate to you & myself who I am.
EDUCATION
What I've Studied
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
It was so exciting to be able to study Supply Chain Management at one of the top three SCM schools in the nation. The degree included fascinating courses like Controls Systems Management, Global Logistics, and Business Modeling. As I continue in my career I realize this degree taught me most about change management, efficiency, & a keen understanding of the balancing of business functions.
BUSINESS SUSTAINABILITY
A new topic focused on the integration of sustainability throughout businesses, specifically integration throughout the supply chain. Some of my favorite parts of the degree have been learning environmental economics, creating sustainable solutions that execute systems change, and using the correct organizational strategy to develop a culture of sustainability.
BUSINESS DATA ANALYTICS
There's no shortage of discussion about how huge data is becoming to the business environment, and this certificate helps navigate this burgeoning area. Courses include advanced excel functions (VBA, Vlookup, PowerBI, etc.), waiting line theory, & process development.
STUDIO ART
This minor was the most extraordinary way to push me beyond my usual limits. Through a combination of art history, studio art, and art critique courses I've learned how to contextualize, participate, and challenge art. These courses developed my patience, creativity, and determination.
WHAT I'M UP TO
In a pair of sandals with a tube of sunscreen and journal in hand
Film Photography
As a tween, my father and I would pore over photography books ravenous for new tidbits of information to share. On vacations we'd share one digital camera and compare thoughts on each other's photos. I feel that spark in me again as I dip my toe into the unique world of film photography. The way it captures sunlight and color makes my heart dance.
Travelling
The older I get the more comfort & joy I feel at home, and I think that's in part driven by my love for traveling. You get to explore new routes, walk miles you would never deign to on a Tuesday, & dig deep into portions of history your classes never touched. After all of the sensory wonders you get to return home with another piece of the world instilled in your brain & a new comfort that cliches do ring true and home is indeed where the heart is.
At My Local Market
Finding community & a way to pursue sustainability post-grad vexed me for a good bit, luckily, with some time I realized the farmers' market filled both of these holes in my heart. Every week I get to build relationship with local farmers & community members, ensure people of all incomes have access to nutritious food, and all while admiring the beauty of what people can build together. Being at the market feels like witnessing the world as it should be.

My Philosophy:
TO LIVE AND TO LOVE
Spread love, be the love, allow yourself to be loved, and savor the minutiae of the everyday. To be alive is to find the love and joy in every moment.

It's all about community, connectivity, & finding satisfaction.
WHAT I'M LISTENING TO
I always felt like music could give a good grasp of a person's personality
